She gained experience during her Master’s degree as a business research intern at Imuno Therapeutics, a Dutch start-up that uses machine learning to develop structure-based discovery engines to identify novel cancer-specific epitopes. During a 9-month research internship at LACDR, she investigated whether the inclusion of interactions within protein and RNA profiles from biopsy samples of breast cancer patients could improve the prediction of overall survival using random forest classification.
Zosia obtained her Master’s in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences and Business Studies cum laude from Leiden University in the Netherlands. During this time, she was selected to join the Leiden Leadership Programme, a one-year honours program for Dutch master’s students focusing on personal development and leadership qualities.
