Karthik joined Gilde Healthcare in 2023. He supports the Venture&Growth team in deal origination, assessment of investment case, and portfolio management in Gilde’s healthtech investments.

Karthik was previously part of the investment team at Northpond Ventures, focusing on investments in medtech and molecular diagnostics. He began his private markets career at Lazard, gaining experience in M&A advisory in healthcare investing across therapeutics, life science and medtech.

He holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
