Pieter is Founder and Managing Partner of Gilde Healthcare and leads the Venture&Growth and Private Equity strategies. He is responsible for general business management and corporate development, overseeing the investment committees and fundraising.
Pieter joined Gilde in 1989 following a consultant position at KPMG Management Consulting.
He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Leiden University, specializing in bio-organic synthesis and molecular modelling.
