Jelte joined the Gilde Healthcare Private Equity team in 2023. He is is involved in deal origination, assessment of investment cases, investment & divestment processes and portfolio management.

Jelte previously worked at LUMICKS, a life sciences tools scale-up where he supported multiple capital raisings, strategic finance planning, and business reviews. Prior to this, he gained experience in investment banking at Lazard and Corporate Finance International.

Jelte holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments, and an LLM in Financial Law from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. He completed his Bachelor’s in International Business Administration at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, spending part of his course studying abroad at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
