Katharina joined Gilde Healthcare in 2024. She works across our Private Equity and Venture&Growth funds to help deal teams understand ESG and impact risks, as well as supporting the implementation of ESG initiatives across the portfolios.

Before joining Gilde, Katharina worked for sustainable engineering consultancy TAUW Germany in behavioural safety, environmental due diligence, and environmental health and safety. Whilst writing her Master’s thesis, she worked as a research assistant for the 2020 Horizon project in South Africa with the African Circular Economy Network.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Leiden University, and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University.
